From the 2023 brochure
Specialist inspection, cleaning, testing and flushing services for process and hydraulic systems.
Video scopes and borescopes verify cleanliness deep inside equipment, pipelines and dark spaces. Units can inspect ¾”–2” and 4”–60” pipelines, with powered robotic crawlers for vertical pipes.
Removes scales, deposits and unwanted materials from process equipment, piping and wetted or heated surfaces through chemical application or solvent cleaning.
Tagging systems and bolting software support the integrity and audit trail of bolted joints in pressurised systems. Two standalone programmes conform to ANSI and API standards and do not require a server link.
Regional equipment fleets support leak detection and pressure testing with N2 equipment, tanks, high-pressure pumps, instrumentation and testing accessories. Testing protects personnel health, safe equipment operation and the environment.
High-pressure water and line-mole nozzles dislodge mud, scale and construction debris from internal pipework. Equipment supports 2”–44” pipeline sizes and 5,000–17,000 PSI cleaning, including foulant and coating removal.
Removes contaminants from control, lubricating and hydraulic systems before commissioning or after maintenance.
Also available: nitrogen purging · hydrostatic testing · critical valve ultrasonic testing · pneumatic testing · PSV re-calibration · helium/N2 leak testing · engineering consultancy · personnel · equipment rental · flushing / retro-jetting.
From the 2023 brochure
Insulation systems that protect process conditions, equipment and people across the vessel and plant.
Thermal insulation, cryogenic insulation, insulation mattresses, vessel insulation, repair and maintenance.
Appropriate insulating materials and sheet-metal cladding help maintain media temperature, reduce heat loss and protect installations from weather and mechanical loads.
Lower heat loss and cost, reduced CO₂ emissions, stable process temperature, noise reduction, condensation prevention and personal protection from high temperatures.
OVS field notes · 2023 brochure
The detail behind the headline: the people, methods and safeguards that keep a difficult marine job moving.
OVS gives customers world-class service at competitive rates in the niche markets of shipbuilding, ship repair and conversion, growing step by step while developing quality vessels and services and exceeding expectations for quality, innovation and reliability.
Our vision is to be one of the leading marine ship-repair and offshore oil-and-gas fabrication organisations in Southeast Asia for ship owners, managers, oil-and-gas companies, representatives and agencies, providing speedy, safe, clean, organised and cost-efficient work towards 95% customer satisfaction.
Video inspection equipment verifies system cleanliness. Lighted insertion tubes capture video or still images deep within equipment, pipelines and dark spaces; units cover ¾”–2” and 4”–60” pipelines, with powered robotic crawlers for vertical pipes.
Removes scales, deposits and other unwanted materials from process equipment, piping and wetted or heated surfaces by chemical or solvent action, including nanoemulsion cleaning and deposit softening, dissolution or modification of physical properties.
Tagging systems and bolting software manage the integrity of bolted joints in pressurised systems through a best-practice control process for recording and gathering relevant data with multi-part flange tags, creating an auditable historical trail. Bolt-load software recommends tightening methods, tooling, torque and tension; two standalone programmes conform to ANSI and API standards without a server link.
Equipment includes manual bolting tools, tensioning tools, torquing tools, hydraulic accessories and pumps, pipe-flange spreaders and ultrasonic flange testers.
Leak testing identifies defects that affect component or process-system integrity. Regional equipment fleets include N2 equipment, tanks, high-pressure testing pumps, instrumentation and accessories.
Hydro or retro jetting uses 5,000–17,000 PSI high-pressure water and line-mole nozzles to move inside pipework, dislodge and flush mud, scale and construction debris, and sweep loose debris with sufficient water flow. It covers pipeline sizes 2”–44” and supports foulant and coating removal using hand lancing, line moles, heat-exchanger bundle cleaning and a water knife. Equipment cleaned includes boilers, heat exchangers, feed-water, cooling-water, fire-water, lube-oil, hydraulic, condenser, process-piping and reactor systems.
Hot-oil flushing removes contaminants and impurities from control, lubricating and hydraulic fluids before commissioning or after shutdown maintenance. The initial clean follows exacting cleanliness standards; applications include lube oil, seal oil, control hydraulics, subsea controls, umbilicals and regular servicing of hydraulic systems. Benefits include trouble-free start-up, reduced unplanned downtime, longer bearing life and continuous operations.
Scope: thermal insulation, cryogenic insulation, insulation mattresses, vessel insulation, repair and maintenance. Appropriate insulating materials with sheet-metal cladding maintain media temperature and protect pipework and insulation from weather and mechanical loads.
The approach reduces heat losses and keeps the installation economical and functional on a permanent basis, supporting maximum process-cycle efficiency throughout the design service life. Benefits include reduced heat loss, cost savings, lower CO₂ emissions, process-temperature stability, noise reduction, condensation prevention and personal protection against high temperatures.
OVS focuses on establishing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for personnel at all levels while providing professional service for every project and earning the support and recognition of clients and contractors.
The brochure records HSE Management System — OHSAS 18001:2007 and bizSAFE Star, including a Bizsafe Level 3 risk-management plan audited by an MOM-approved WSH Auditor in compliance with the WSH (Risk Management) Regulations 2006. The brochure explains that a healthy, safe and supportive environment helps people and the organisation flourish. Validity requires confirmation before launch.
